1. Who we are

CBOX FLASH COURIER is a brand of Cantabria Inversiones, C.A. (RIF J-30631206-4), based at Av. Octavio Camejo, C.C. Plaza Mayor, PB, Edificio 5, Local 25, Sector El Morro, Lecherías, Anzoátegui State, Venezuela, which is responsible for the data we process in this app and on cboxflashcourier.com. 2. What data we collect

When you register: first names, last names, email, phone number, date of birth and password (stored encrypted, never as plain text). Later, in your profile: ID document, address, city, state, postal code, country and, if you wish, a photo. About your shipments: tracking number, store, purchase amount, weight, dimensions, shipping and payment status. Technical data: your IP address and browser or device when you sign in and in security actions, an app identifier to send you notifications, and cookies to keep you signed in and remember your language. If you write to us in the chat, your messages.

3. What we use it for

To provide the service: receive, bring and deliver your packages and charge for them. To check that you are of legal age and verify your identity when you pick up a package (this is why we ask for your ID document and date of birth). To protect your account (limits on sign-in attempts and a record of changes). To let you know about your packages by notification or email. To wish you a happy birthday. And, only if you agree, to send you offers.

4. Offers and notifications

Offers by notification are turned on by default (you can untick them when you sign up) and you can turn them off at any time in your profile, under “Notifications”. Offers by email only reach you if you told us yes, and every email includes an unsubscribe link. Notices about your packages are not advertising: they are part of the service. We keep a record of what you accept or decline (the text you saw, the date and the IP address) as proof of your decision.

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. We only share it with providers that give us a service, and only what they need: the service that sends the app notifications, the support chat service, the server that hosts the app, and the warehouses and carriers that move your packages. Also when a law or an authority requires it.

6. How long we keep it

For as long as you have your account. You can delete it from your profile in the app: the account is removed and you can no longer sign in. We keep a separate copy of the account data (name, email, phone number, date of birth, ID document and address) and the history of your packages.

7. Your rights

You can view and correct your data in your profile, and in “My data” (inside your profile) see and download everything we keep about you. You can only enter your ID document once; to change it, write to us and an administrator will review it. You can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, and withdraw your permission to receive offers at any time, by writing to soporte@cboxflashcourier.com.

8. Minors

The service is only for people aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly create accounts for minors.

9. Security

Passwords are stored encrypted, the connection is encrypted (https) and our staff only see what they need for their work, with an email code for higher-permission access.

10. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will publish the new version on this page with its date. If the change is important, we will let you know in the app.

11. Website

On this website, if you write to us through the contact form we keep your name, email, phone (if you give it), subject and message in order to reply, together with your IP address to prevent abuse. With your permission we use Google Analytics to measure usage in aggregate; it does not load until you accept and you can change your decision under “Cookie preferences”. We do not sell this data.
